Guiuan is a coastal municipality in the province of Eastern Samar.
The municipality has a land area of 175.49 square kilometers or 67.76 square miles which constitutes 3.80% of Eastern Samar's total area. Its population as determined by the 2020 Census was 53,361. This represented 11.18% of the total population of Eastern Samar province, or 1.17% of the overall population of the Eastern Visayas region.
