Tapaz is a landlocked municipality in the coastal province of Capiz.
The municipality has a land area of 517.18 square kilometers or 199.68 square miles which constitutes 19.93% of Capiz's total area. Its population as determined by the 2020 Census was 54,423. This represented 6.76% of the total population of Capiz province, or 0.68% of the overall population of the Western Visayas region.
