Esperanza is a landlocked municipality in the coastal province of Sultan Kudarat.
The municipality has a land area of 324.29 square kilometers or 125.21 square miles which constitutes 6.05% of Sultan Kudarat's total area. Its population as determined by the 2020 Census was 74,696.
