Maluso is a coastal municipality in the island province of Basilan.
The municipality has a land area of 304.14 square kilometers or 117.43 square miles which constitutes 8.81% of Basilan's total area. Its population as determined by the 2020 Census was 45,730. This represented 10.73% of the total population of Basilan province, or 1.04% of the overall population of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.
