Banton, formerly known as Jones, is a coastal municipality in the island province of Romblon.
The municipality has a land area of 32.48 square kilometers or 12.54 square miles which constitutes 2.12% of Romblon's total area. Its population as determined by the 2020 Census was 5,737. This represented 1.86% of the total population of Romblon province, or 0.18% of the overall population of the MIMAROPA Region.
